Set in the centre of the Val di Marina, which takes its name from the creek of the same name that flows down the valley, the farm Tenuta di Collina benefits from a splendid panoramic position. The orientation of the slopes and the composition of the soil are granting mainly a unique product in terms of quality: extra virgin olive oil. The respect for the environment, the research of a balance with nature, as well as the attention and the passion of the collaborators and thanks to the methods of biological farming and the use of new technologies which respect the environment make sure that the Tenuta di Collina is witness of a territory with a sustainable and responsible economy.
Starting from the second half of the eighteenth century the Tenuta di Collina owns a company olive oil mill. Formerly the olives had been grinded with millstones moved by animal traction. Today the olive mill, placed inside the historical building called “Ginoriana”, follows the most modern technologies of olive oil extraction while keeping intact the historical memory, but always keeping in mind the demands of the contemporary consumer.
