Our wine
FROM OUR VINEYARDS
The seven hectares of vineyard produce a table wine IGT Toscano (IGT = Typical Geographic Indication) of a moderate alcoholic strenght, perfect for daily consumption.
Our wine
The wines produced are: red table wine, white table wine, pure Merlot and pure Chardonnay. Moreover a small quantity of rosé wine, with a delicate flavour and soft taste in the mouth is produced.
The vine varieties cultivated are Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay and Trebbiano. The transformation of the grapes takes place in the wine cellar of the farm, in the historical building Ginoriana built by marquess Lorenzo Ginori Lisci.
RED, WHITE AND ROSÉ
TABLE WINE
The seven hectares of vineyards of the farm Fattoria di Collina are all located in the surroundings of the wine cellar and belong to the small town of La Chiusa.
The varieties of red berries cultivated are Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah and Canaiolo. The red wine obtained by the transformation of those vine varieties is of moderate strenght ideal for daily use.
The white vine varieties are Trebbiano and Chardonnay. The grapes from the second one are pressed and bottled separately.

RED WINE
IL CAVALIERE
“Il Cavaliere” is a wine designed in honor of the Marquis Paolo Venturi Ginori Lisci, Knight of Malta.
Obtained from 70% grapes selected from the Merlot and Syrah varieties and 30% from Sangiovese.
It is fresh and pleasant to the palate, harmonious and with medium persistence, ideal for white meats or cheeses, very appreciated as an aperitif.
Strenght: 12%;
RED WINE
IGT IL POZZACCIO
The name “Pozzaccio” derives from the name of the place where the vineyards are located.
Obtained from selected grapes from vineyards of the vine varieties Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah riped individually in barrels of durmast oak and perfected in the bottle.
The moderate ageing makes it a wine with a determined character, full-bodied and persistent and of ruby colour which combines well with roast, game and meat sauces.
